Diagnostic Services

What are your diagnostic services?

My expertise is in the field of Functional Diagnosis. I use a wide range of tools to help me gather more information from my patients. These include in-depth blood chemistry analysis to get more information from my patients' blood test results, a functional approach to signs and symptoms analysis, and various in-office labs and physical exam techniques. I can help you do the same with your patients.

I have a number of different ways I can work with you. I can prepare a report of findings from blood chemistry and CBC screens you fax through to me. I can prepare a report of findings from an in-depth signs and symptoms analysis questionnaire I use, or I can combine the blood chemistry and the signs and symptoms analysis to give you a more in-depth look at your patients state of health. You will get a written report of findings that outline the most clinically important findings and the clinical implications of this. I do not make treatment recommendations unless you specifically want my opinion on diet, lifestyle, or nutritional treatments.

How in depth do you go?

I can go very deep with these methods of analysis. However I have set up 3 levels of analysis that vary from the most basic to an in-depth analysis with 10 minutes of phone consultation. What kind of report do we get?

I have a number of different reports that I do, depending on the amount of time you want me to spend on the analysis. The basic report is a list of the most clinically important findings that I see from the blood test results and/or signs and symptoms questionnaire. The next level of report will include a more in-depth narrative of my findings and the clinical implications. The most in-depth report includes all of the above, plus a short phone 10 minute consultation to answer any questions you may have. I can do a report on only the blood chemistry screen or the symptom questionnaire, or combine both to give you the most in-depth report.

Do we get phone consultation as well?

My most in-depth report includes phone consultation time. If you require more time for further questions I will bill you at my usual consultation rate, which is $150.00/hour.

I can definitely help you with many aspects of practice management. I can help you with billing structure, how to get more new patients, how to hold onto your exisitng patients, how to develop in-office programs to add variety to your clinic, how to keep your patients happy and get them to bring their friends and relations.

Absolutely. My main area of strength is in internet and web marketing. I have a broad background in many issues pertaining to web site development, strategies to increase web traffic, search engine strategies, information marketing, and e-commerce. How do you handle the consulting?

My consulting is done over the phone and via email. My sessions are usually 30-60 minutes in length. Research time adds to your total time spent. Absolutely! I will work with you to put together a program that is specific to your group, meeting, audience, event or convention. The material, titles and subjects are customized to your event. How long are your presentations?

My presentations are designed to fit your available time from 30 minutes to two day seminars. I can adapt my presentation if the need arises to shorten or lengthen my presentation. I want to be able to accommodate your needs.

What topics do you speak about?

My specialty is the different topics of alternative diagnostic techniques. I have done presentations on functionally oriented blood chemistry analysis, signs and symptom analysis, different in-office lab techniques including functional urinalysis, detoxification, and anti-aging. As a naturopathic physician I have a broad knowledge of many topics in complementary and alternative medicine. Do you use powerpoint?

I am well trained in powerpoint and can incorporate it into my presentations. However, I am not limited to powerpoint presentations, and can do presentations that do not require its use.

How can we get extra value from you?

I am available to do breakout or workshop sessions at the same event. For instance if I am doing a 2 hour advanced blood chemistry session it may be worth hiring me to do my 1 hour Blood Chemistry 101 class as an early morning refresher course for the delegates. This gets you a big discount on the second presentation and saves you travel and expenses.

What is your background?

I am a Naturopathic physician, Board certified by the State of Oregon in Naturopathic medicine. I graduated from National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland oregon, a four-year residential medical school specializing in Naturopathy. I am originally from the United Kingdom and travel there quite frequently lecturing and consulting with clients and other practitioners. I have always been fascinated with diagnosis, especially being able to uncover the true cause for the many dysfunctions that plaque our patients. I am dedicated to providing the highest quality educational material in many different formats and pride myself on the superb level of customer service I provide to each and every customer, client, and patient.

I have a strong English accent, which I have been told adds an air of credibility and authenticity to my presentations. On the other hand I think everyone else "speaks kinda funny"!

How do you handle expenses?

I use coach airfare whenever possible, though at 6 foot 3 inches I would love to fly business class hahaha. You will never have to deal with unnecessary meal expenses, obscure British delicacies, weird food or beverages in my dressing room, hidden frills or other surprises!!
